Accreditation
Accreditation is required for IF Gnistan’s home matches. Accreditation requests can be submitted here. We usually confirm accreditation requests a few days before the match.
Matchday
IF Gnistan’s remaining home matches will be played at Bolt Arena. Entrance to Bolt Arena is through the MEDIA door (Urheilukatu 5, street level). The door is opened 45 minutes before kick-off and closed when the match begins. Journalists are directed up the stairs to the press stand. Photographers are directed down the stairs along the back corridor to the work area and from there to pitch level.
A Veikkausliiga photographer vest is required for pitch-level photography. The vests are distributed at the MEDIA door on matchdays. Photography is subject to Veikkausliiga's guidelines. The guidelines are available here.
The media has designated workspaces at the stadium. Journalists have a press box in Bolt Arena's Upper Stand and workspaces below it. Photographers have a separate workspace at pitch level. The workspaces are available after the end of the match.
All media personnel must remain in the designated workspaces. Photographers are not allowed to leave the pitch level and enter the stands, and the press card does not entitle media personnel to access areas other than the press box or other areas specifically designated for use by the media.
Post-match player interviews are done in the mixed zone downstairs. The coaches’ press conferences are also held downstairs in the press room close to the mixed zone. Journalists can also remain in the press room to work after the match has ended.
Interviews
All interview requests must be submitted through Gnistan’s Head of Marketing and Communications (Frans Enala).
Media at Gnistan’s team training
Photography during training is only permitted with Gnistan’s permission.
Photographers covering training sessions must remain outside the sidelines of the pitch. Keep an appropriate distance from the team.
Journalists attending training sessions must watch from the stand. During training, media personnel must respect the team and the team's requests.
